BELWEST PLAYERS SELECTED FOR WLEAGUE Congratulations to Belwest players Cian Maciejewski and Michaela Day on being selected to represent Canberra in the inaugural Westfield WLeague as members of the Canberra United team. Both players were part of the winning Belwest Premier League team this season. Belwest wishes both players every success in the coming WLeague season and beyond. Congratulations must also go to Katrina Staniforth, another member of Belwest's Premier League team, who has been spotted on the sidelines NOT as a player but as the physio. Season 2008 is Underway!The Belwest Foxes Soccer Club Inc. welcomes all players, coaches, managers, parents and friends to what will again be an exciting and enjoyable football season. We are here to assist and should you have any questions, please contact one of the below committee members. For a full committee list just ask on registration day. We are always looking for helpers, so if you can spare that hour or so we would like to hear from you.

Registration DaysBelwest will be holding registration days at Latham Playing fields (behind Latham primary school), Macrossan Crescent Latham as follows: Saturday 16th and 23rd February 2008 10:00am until 2:00pm Click here for a copy of the New Player Registration or Registration Renewal forms. For those parents or players unable to attend these days, you can also register by mailing both your Registration Forms and cheque/credit card payment to The Registrar Belwest Foxes Soccer Club, PO Box 155 Kippax ACT 2615. PLEASE NOTE We are also required to submit a separate registration form to Capital Football for all new and returning players to Belwest under the National Registration Guidelines. Registration CostsPlease see the registration form for details of individual player costs. Fees are always kept to a minimum and are considered very reasonable. Fees have not increased for 2008. Registration forms must be received by 1st March 2008 or your child cannot be guaranteed a position in their old team. Belwest requires all registration fee payments to be finalised as soon as possible. Should registration fees not be finalised by 1 st May 2008 then your child may not be able to participate in Belwest sanctioned activities. Registration fees must accompany the registration form. If you are suffering hardship or require time to pay, please contact our player's registrar on registration day or telephone 6254 4518. These arrangements are confidential. Note: Player/parent initiated cancellations of registration will incur a charge of 50% of the registration fee to cover administration costs . PeeWeesBelwest Soccer Club welcomes all Pee Wee players to the 2008 Football season. Click here for information on the PeeWee season at Belwest Placement of players in teams – non competitiveYounger players are placed in teams according to friendship groups, schools and residential address. All efforts will be made to group friends together. Friendship groupings will apply only to players in the non-competitive junior age groups. To assist in the players enjoyment of the game, those that are 11 years through to 13 years will be required to attend allocation days, players may then be placed in teams aligned to the individual's development. CoachingParents are encouraged to become involved in coaching in all age groups. Please register your interest with one of the committee. Belwest is able to organise coaching courses and have experienced people available to assist and advise. 2007 AGMPlease note that the 2007 AGM will be held on Wednesday 20 February 2008 in the Dunlop room at Ginninderra Labor Club commencing at 7.30pm .
